At least, that’s how many of us felt a few days ago. In a show of sheer determination and adaptability, Head Hunters finally defeated the bitch - Battleguard Sartura. Armed with a new confidence and sense of being ‘ard as nails, we pushed onto Fankriss through the Bug Trail.
Alas, in disappointment, there was only ONE Aliens reference made during the entire set of journies to Fankriss the Unyielding. Weak lads, weak.
We finally figured out where the safe spot was after a few goes and accidental pullings of Fankriss, buffed up and headed on in. First go, we got battered silly. On our second attempt, which many felt would be our last, we got him to about 5-6%. A fresh feeling of “we can’t quit now!” rushed through the raid and we threw ourselves at his mercy once more. This time we killed him, with some uber mail leggings going to Lewise and a SR/Stam cloak going to Abs in preparation for Twin Emps.
We topped off the night with a visit to Viscidus, with Cuba charging in mid explanation and getting us all killed
