After a long period of time out of Zul’Gurub while we organised our Molten Core tactics, we have started attacking the place with vengeance. Friday’s first attempt had Jeklik going down on the second attempt, which is a record for us, considering the ease of the fight we usually took 4-5 attempts! Venoxis was next and was a perfectly executed fight, no deaths and first attempt. People were buzzing after the success so we decided to attempt Mar’ll again, we’d tried her before but with no success. The first attempt saw us wipe as we let her get out a channeled heal and effectively reset the fight. Second time lucky though, we completely pwned her taking her down for the first time!
Last night saw us dragging ourselves out of a superb MC run back into ZG to attempt the 4th boss, this bugger is tough! Took us over 10 minutes to bring the guy down, he just soaks up DPS, minimal deaths however meant we didn’t power him up much and finally took him down after what seemed like 2hrs of tickling him. Finally took him down on our second attempt however and got our first ZG epic! With Wisey getting the Mandokir’s Sting.
