Well, a couple of weeks ago we were all minding our own business, farming consumables to take down Brutallus when suddenly word of the under-anticipated Age of Conan release started spreading over Ventrilo. A fortnight on and around 90% of the guild is dedicating more time to AoC than WoW and all major raids are currently postponed.
It is still a little too early to determine whether Age of Conan has what it takes to be a game that lasts. Its first impressions, launch bugs aside, have been very positive. The potential for its endgame is also huge, and the open PvP with the increased emphasis this places on guild identity, and coupled with the likes of guild cities and battlekeeps all seems very exciting.
I know many of our guild miss aspects of early Star Wars Galaxies, particularly the proper guild cities and wonderful crafting engine, and I'm not sure AoC will reach those levels. At least it shouldn't have to try too hard to trump WoW's crafting.
So, for the time being at least we're a multi-game guild. Those still playing WoW aren't completely idle; Kristo and Ajax recently 2 manned Onyxia. They would've taken more folk but there was only the two of them online ;)
On the Age of Conan side we've started our guild city, have several level 60+ characters and are welcoming back some old friends who'd tired of WoW and getting to know some new people too.
